California RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly)
Administrator Initial Certification
- An RCFE Administrator is licensed by the Community Care Licensing Division of the State of California Department of Social Services to care for clients 60 years of age and older.
- To become an RCFE Administrator you must complete an approved 80 hour Administrator Certification course and successfully pass a state exam. The exam is 100 questions long and must receive a score of at least 70% to pass. Numerous practice quizzes and test preps in our course will assist you on the state exam.
- Age Restriction: Tammez Consulting Services does not limit participation for anyone interested in completing our administrator certification although Title 22 regulation requires administrators to be at least 21 years of age to take the state exam and become certified. Our department of Social Services – approved Administrator Certification Course is instructed by a team of experienced professionals. This course not only addresses the state exam, but also covers current elderly care issues including medications, dementia care, staffing and Title 22 regulations.
- These courses are intended for persons who wish to become certified as an administrator of a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) in the state of California.
